Description

Mary Lou Smith was crowned Queen of the May at the annual May Fete of Polytechnic Elementary School. She is shown with two members of the court, David Varley, left, and Louise Ratliff, right. David is dressed as a clown and Louise is dressed in a "Dutch girl" costume. Mary Lou is sitting on a throne, wearing a long dress with puffy sleeves and a wide skirt and a crown. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Smith.
