Description
These four men traveled from Colorado City, Texas, along with ten others, to address the county jury on behalf of Joseph William Dunlap. They are, left to right, F. W. Beights, J. H. Carlock, A. K. McCarley, and O. J. Griffin. Mr. Dunlap is a 20-year-old former athlete and ministerial student at Hardin-Simmons University. He admitted to committing 14 burglaries of private residences. The four witnesses are walking up the courthouse steps. They are wearing hats and suits. Several automobiles are parked at the curb.
