Lieutenant Samuel J. Griffin, Marine Corps pilot. Lt. Griffin is wearing a Marine Corps uniform with an insignia on his collar and wings above his left breast pocket. His uniform is a medium-dark material with a lighter shirt and tie that appear to be matching colors, the tie is a solid color. His service cap has Marine insignia over the stiff bill. His arms are pulled behind him and hands are not in view. Clipping: "Several Service Men Have Been Home Lately. Numerous service men have visited Fort Worth relatives recently, while others have written of their new locations... Lt. Samuel J. Griffin, Marine Corps pilot, who received his wings recently at the Naval Air Station in Corpus Christie, Texas visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. J.
