Description
The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are preparing for the 1943 football season and their opening game against the Texas Agricultural and Mechanical College (A&M) Aggies. There are nine freshman on the Frog roster and only one returning letterman from the 1942 season. Members of the new starting line, left to right, are Bill Marshall (End - 81), Captain Clyde Flowers (Tackle - 72), Walter Harrison (Guard - 62), Billy Hale (Center - 50), Norman Morrill (Guard - 61), Dick Smith (Tackle - 71), and George Gartner (End - 81). They are shown on the football field, dressed in their uniforms. An unidentified man in a suit and a hat is standing in the end zone at left.
