E. R. Barton Junior is a Boatswain's Mate in the United States Navy. He is home in Fort Worth, Texas, visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Barton Senior. Barton is home on only the second furlough he has had since enlisting seven years ago. He has won two presidential citations for his service. Barton will report to school in Virginia for additional training. He is shown standing against a wall, dressed in his military uniform.
