Mr. and Mrs. James McKinley Bryant. She is the former Mrs. Loraine Kirby McMurrey of Dallas. James McKinley Bryant, New York hotel executive and author of the book, "Personalities of 1943", were married Tuesday at First Christian Church, by Rev. L. D. Anderson. In this picture, the newly married couple is holding each other standing by the wall. Bryant, who reports to the Army in New York City said they decided to get married on September 3, which turned out to be a very lucky day as it was also the day the invasion of Italy began and the date his new book came off the presses. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, September 8, 1943.
