Description
Captain John M. Kelso is a young pilot from Montgomery, Alabama. He received his training at Hicks Field in Fort Worth, Texas, from April to July of 1941. He flew to England in a flying Fortress Group and participated in the African invasion. Captain Kelso has 50 combat missions to his credit and holds the Air Medal with nine Oak Leaf Clusters. Before reporting for reassignment, he is enjoying his furlough in Fort Worth by visiting the Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. He is dressed in a military uniform. There is a picture of Will Rogers and a grandfather clock in the background.
