    Description

Lee McGee, 20-year-old cadet midshipman in the United States Merchant Marines, is home for a five-day visit with his parents, Mr and Mrs. W. P. McGee, after participating in the initial invasion of Sicily. During the invasion, his group underwent 72 enemy air raids in four days. Mr. McGee is a 1940 graduate of Paschal High School, and attended the University of Texas until 1942, when he enlisted in the Merchant Marines. He is a former Star-Telegram carrier-salesman. He is shown standing in front of a blank wall, wearing his military uniform.
