Description

First grade pupils of Glen Rose Elementary School were given a special ride from Benbrook, Texas, to Fort Worth, Texas, on the Sunshine Special. Many of the children are enjoying their first train ride. The adults accompanying the children are, left to right, Mrs. Gus Snyder, Mrs. Jack Bridges, Mrs. Sterling Pruitt, Mrs. A. D. Wood, Mrs. E. L. Lilly, Mrs. R. A. Meredith, Mrs. W. E. Meaders and the teacher, Mrs. C. A. Milam Junior. They are posing in front of the back of the train on the tracks. The children are crowded in front of the chaperones.
