    Description

    Mrs. Willie Fay Lewis, executive director of the Lighthouse for the Blind, helps Virgil Alexander, one of the Lighthouse workers. They are engaged in the separation of numerous articles used in the manufacture of twin-engine training planes at Glove Aircraft Corporation. Mr. Alexander is seated while Mrs. Lewis stands. In front of them are a large number of containers with nuts, bolts and other items. Behind them is an open door revealing a garage. This photograph was published in the August 4, 1943 morning edition of the Star-Telegram.
