The king and queen of Denver Avenue School are being introduced along with their court. They are, left to right, Martha Shannon, Jerry Trimble, Earlynne Swain, Robert Hamm, Elaine Lovelace and Mary Clare Cooper. Martha is a court dancer. She is wearing a long, frilly dress. Jerry, herald, is dressed in a shirt, shorts, and tights. Earlynne is the queen. She is wearing a dress with a train and a crown. Robert is the king. He is dressed in a shirt, trousers, a crown and a robe. Elaine, dancer, is wearing a ballet outfit. Mary Clare, a court actor, is wearing a patterned dress with a bow in her hair.
