"Lieutenant Charles D. Tandy and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Tandy, as they met at Municipal Airport Wednesday". Mr. Dave Tandy is on the left of the photograph. He is wearing a button up shirt and tie, slacks with a belt, and a hat. His right arm is at his side, and his left hand is on his belt. He is smiling and facing towards Mrs. Tandy. Charles Tandy is in between his parents in the center of the photograph. He is wearing his black double breasted Navy service jacket with black pants, and decorations above his left breast pocket. He has on a white undershirt with black tie, and his service hat. His arms are around both of his parent's shoulders, and he is smiling and facing his mother. Mrs. Tandy is to the right of the photograph. She is wearing a dress with the pattern of a cursive l and double l on it, and a white hat with a black bow on top. The collar and sleeves of the dress are white, and she has on glasses. Her left arm is at her side, and her right arm isn't pictured. She is looking at her husband and has a smile on her face. In the background you can see the wing of a plane to the left, an airport service truck below the wing, and a tool box to the right.
