Included in the party which made the first official flight inaugurating the Graniff Airline's route to Denver, Colorado were (left to right) C. E. Faulk, president of Delta Airlines, Monroe, Louisiana; Mrs. Alex W. Terrell, the former Jean Braniff, Dallas, Texas, and Fort Worth Mayor and Mrs. McCrary. (Man at extreme left not identified.) The group is standing next to a Braniff airplane. The women are standing on a small passenger ramp extending from one of the plane's exit doors. The men are wearing suits and ties. The women are wearing dresses and hats. This photograph was published in the July 21, 1943 evening edition of the Star-Telegram.
