Description
The Beaumont Exporters are in town to play the Fort Worth Cats. They are left to right, Boyd Perry and Ned Harris. Perry is the new full-time shortstop for the Exporters. He is taking over for Art Lilly, who departed for the Knoxville Smokies. Perry is a brilliant fielder, but a light hitter. Harris is a twenty-three year old outfielder. The southpaw is one of the best outfielders in the Texas League this season. He led the Exporters to a 11-9 win over the San Antonio Missions with three runs batted in and a triple. The Exporters are dressed in their dark road uniforms.
