Description
Harold M. Barnes, director of publicity and education for Fort Worth Community Chest since 1934, was named executive director of the chest at Corpus Christi. During his association with the Fort Worth chest, Barnes has presented more than 400 radio broadcasts about the Community Chest and War Chest campaigns and factual discussions of the various agencies of the chests. He has been actively engaged in several other fund raising drives. He was graduated from the University of Chicago. Mr. Barnes is shown standing against a bare wall and smiling for the camera. He is wearing suit and tie and eyeglasses. Mr. and Mrs. Barnes will move to Corpus Christi next week. They have a son, Lieutenant (Lt.) Harold M. Barnes Junior (Jr.) and a daughter, Mrs. Harold Braun. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 3, 1943.
