    Description

The Fort Worth Cats hosted the visiting Beaumont Exporters at LaGrave Field. Steve Carter, Beaumont outfielder, is hitting the dirt on the front end of a double steal that set up the Exporter's first two runs. Buster Chatham, Cats' third baseman, fielded the wide throw from player manager and catcher, Bob Linton. Chatham is taking a quick look at second to see if there is a play on the other runner. Both Exporters scored a moment later on Murray Franklin's three-bagger. The Exporters went on to win the game, 4-2.
