The Athenaeum Club is holding a "South of the Border" tea in the Anna Shelton Hall of the Woman's Club. Among the 200 guests attending the tea are, left to right, Mrs. C. R. Hickman, Mrs. C. L. Twiss, and Mrs. Lyle Sproles, seated. Mrs. Hickman is a past club president an a member of the entertainment committee for the spring party. She is wearing a satin dress and a crown of flowers in her hair. Mrs. Twiss is chairman of the entertainment committee. She is wearing a beaded dress, brooch, and a corsage. Mrs. Sproles is the re-elected club president. She is shown pouring tea from a pitcher. She is wearing a dress with a rose corsage.
