Description
The first occupants of the "Victory Apartments," located west of the Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corporation plant in Fort Worth, Texas, looking over the efficiency range in the kitchen of their new apartment. The tenants are, left to right, Miss Dora Mae Bishop, Miss Lona Eiland and Miss Thelmer Eiland. Miss Lona Eiland is knelt down, opening the oven door, with Miss Bishop and Miss Thelmer Eiland standing on either side of her. Miss Bishop and Miss Thelmer are holding small, rectangular baking dishes. Miss Bishop and Miss Lona Eiland are wearing coveralls and Miss Thelmer Eiland is wearing a blouse and trousers. At the far left is a refrigerator.
