Description
Attending the 29th annual meeting of the Spanish-American War Veterans at Hotel Texas were John H. Rusing, left, and John White. The two men are standing beside each other in front of a blank wall, both wearing suits with name-tags pinned to their jacket lapels. Rusing's jacket also has multiple medals pinned to it. Rusing, of Houston, Texas, served in Company A, 1st Texas, U. S. Volunteers in Cuba. White, of Dallas, Texas, is a veteran of the Cuban and Philippine campaigns.
