Among those attending a conference of the Texas Bankers Association at Hotel Texas were, left to right, John Hughes, of Petersburg, Texas, B. R. Smith, of Aransas Pass, Texas, and Fleming James, of Abilene, Texas. All three men are wearing suits with name tags pinned onto the lapel of their jackets. Hughes is wearing a pair of eyeglasses and Smith and James are wearing hats.
