Carol Pritchford (not pictured), age 17 and Paschal High School senior, was awarded the Texas Wesleyan Scholarship as a prize in the Fort Worth Art Association's children's art show for her drawing of prickly pear cacti, shown here. The drawing depicts two cacti; the one in the foreground has two flowers. Written on the bottom right corner of the mat board frame is "Carol Pitchford-12th Grade-Age 17," and below that, "Paschal High School."
