Description
Jane Palmer, assistant clerk with the Federal Public Housing Authority, who will enter training in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (W. A. A. C.) on June 15, 1943. Miss Palmer is shown standing in front of a blank wall. She is wearing a buttoned-up coat and the wide collar of her blouse is visible. She appears to be holding a handbag in her left hand. A small button with the W. A. A. C. emblem is pinned onto the lapel of her jacket. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howell Palmer, of Waco, Texas.
