    Cavalrymen from Fort Bliss, El Paso, Texas, who stopped in Fort Worth, Texas, en route to East Texas and Louisiana. Left to right: Sergeant Major Smythe, Sergeant Chales, mess sergeant of Troop A, Seventh Cavalry, Corporal Burleson, of Troop B, Sergeant Boles and Private Stokesbury. An unidentified man is standing at the far right. The group of men are standing outside next to a railroad car. All are dressed in military uniform and hats, except for Sergeant Chales who isn't wearing a hat. Sergeant Boles has his leg propped up and is holding a small pot in his hand. The other men either have their hands in their pockets or their arms are crossed.
