Leon R. Dye, seaman second class, who is stationed with the Seabees (Naval Construction Battalions) in Gulfport, Mississippi. Dye was on leave in Fort Worth, Texas, visiting his mother, Mrs. H. H. Dye, and his grandmother, Mrs. F. C. Rice. Dye is shown standing in front of a blank wall, wearing his sailor's uniform.
