Schmid, center, standing, president of the Maternal Health Center, were pictured as they concluded plans for a new clinic to open. Mrs. Cummins and Mrs. Schmid are seated at a desk while Mrs. Ryan stands behind them with her hands on the back of their chairs. On the desk is an open box and and open book. Mrs. Cummins is wearing a jacket with a blouse underneath. Mrs. Schmid is wearing a long-sleeve dress with lace detailing along the bodice. Mrs. Ryan is wearing a dark-colored dress with a flower pinned near the collar. Behind them is a wall with a ruffled curtain, and on the wall adjacent to them, at right, are several shelves lined with stacks of boxes.
