Description
This envelope features a unique railway post-office cancellation stamp with the phrase "One Day Nearer to Victory." The envelope was furnished by Carl L. McCluney, of Fort Worth, Texas. He sent it to the Stamp Editor, John S. Sparks Junior, at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. In addition to the stamp, the envelope features a drawing of three bombers with the phrase, "Tokyo: Triumphantly we will come!"
