Description
Attorney Berl Godfrey was named the biggest spender at the Kiwanis Club auction. He bought $28,000 worth of merchandise. The proceeds from the auction went towards war bonds. The basket, balancing in Mr. Godfrey's arm, alone set him back $12,500. It was the highest price paid for any item in the auction. Mr. Godfrey is dressed in a hat and a suit. There is an unidentified woman standing at the right.
