Description
The Golden Gloves, an annual competition for amateur boxers, is holding a title bout at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Squaring off in the ring for the bantam weight title, left to right, are Manuel Ortiz and Lupe Cordoza. The fighters are shown during the third round action. Ortiz is blocking a right uppercut from his opponent. Ortiz won the fight in the sixth round with a knockout punch. The referee is standing in the background, at the far right.
