Description
Coleman County, Texas, is enjoying a renewal of activity with the discovery of the Coker Oil Pool. Visiting one of the sites, left to right, are G. F. Rhodes and H. T. Owen. Mr. Rhodes, of the Rhodes Drilling Company, has drilled all the wells in the pool. He is wearing a hat, dress shirt, necktie, and trousers. Mr. Owens tests the oil from the wells. He is dressed in a hat, button-up shirt, and trousers. The men are shown leaning against the back of an automobile.
