Description
Nine female students at Arlington Heights High School are shown lined up behind one another in a squat exercise position on a stone ledge near one of the school buildings. Their hands are extended forward, so that everyone is holding on to each other's shoulders. All the students are wearing shorts and short-sleeve blouses. They are, left to right, Gay Pendleton, Sarah Dewees, Betty Arnold, Ella Jean Waggoner, Lucia Jean Ambrose, Mimi Balfour, Patricia Murphee, Verna Jean Holmes and Barbara Baker.
