    Description

    Mrs. Ella B. Howard was brought into court for questioning in connection with the slaying of Mrs. T. Karl Simmons, of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Seated in the court are, left to right, Mrs. James Connor Johnson, Mrs. Howard and Marvin B. Simpson Senior. A crowd of people are standing and sitting behind them. Mrs. Johnson has her arms crossed and Mr. Simpson Senior is holding his left hand up to his face. He is wearing a suit. Mrs. Howard is wearing a dark jacket, a blouse and a hat. Mrs. Johnson is wearing a textured jacket with a dark blouse and gloves.
