Description
Carl Buzbee, seven-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ocie Cecil Buzbee, is in the hospital recovering from severe burns on his legs. On December 13, 1942, Carl and his brother were burning out an anthill with gasoline when Carl's trousers caught on fire. He has been saving money while in the hospital to purchase war bonds. Carl is shown sitting on a hospital bed, wearing a hospital gown.
