Description

The cast of the play "A Ready-Made Family," presented by the South Side School Parent-Teacher Association (P. T. A.). The players are, left to right, Mrs. Terrell Harper, Mrs. Omega Nicholson (seated), Mrs. Melvin Nelson, Mrs. W. W. Doyle and Reverend Julian C. Gornto. The group is shown acting out a scene in the play. They are gathered in the corner of a room. Mrs. Harper, Mrs. Nelson and Mrs. Doyle are all standing behind Mrs. Nicholson, who is seated in a chair. The three women have their mouths open and their hands up, as Reverend Gornto comes towards them with an ax. He is wearing a suit while the women are wearing pattered dresses and blouses.
