Attendees at the East Texas Chamber of Commerce Convention in Marshall, Texas, J. W. Birdsong, right, president of Greenville (Texas) Exchange National Bank, being served at the directors' banquet by Lorena Jackson. The two are standing in front of a table that is covered with various plates and foods. Mr. Birdsong is holding a plate towards Miss Jackson, as she proceeds to serve him food. Mr. Birdsong is wearing a suit that has a long ribbon pinned onto the jacket lapel. Miss Jackson is wearing a small hat that reads "Hotel Marshall," and a buttoned up dress. She also has a name tag pinned onto her collar. Behind them is a tiled wall with windows above them.
