Left to right is General L. N. Baugh and Judge Tom Simmons. General Baugh is the Texas Commander of the United Confederate Veterans. He is celebrating his ninety-second birthday at a party held for him on Sunday. There is a cake covered in candles sitting on the table in front of him. General Baugh is wearing a dress shirt, bowtie, vest, and a blazer with stars pinned to the lapel. Judge Simmons is wearing a suit with a flower in the lapel. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 22, 1940.
