The Halbert family is looking for a home in Fort Worth, Texas. They are back in their native state of Texas after living for two years in Bremerton, Washington. They are staying with Mr. W. P. Halbert's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Halbert, while they search for permanent housing. Seated left to right are Mr. W. P. Halbert, his son Floyd Wesley, and his wife. Mr. Halbert is wearing a double-breasted suit. Mrs. Halbert is wearing a dark, pinstripe jacket and skirt. Floyd Wesley is wearing a buttoned up jacket with a shirt and tie underneath, and trousers. Originally from Rhome, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Halbert went to Washington to work in the Puget Sound Navy Yard. Back in Texas, they both plan to work at Consolidated Aircraft Corporation.
