Description

The Keeton Broom basketball team will compete against the Texas Wesleyan College (TWC) team in the Gold Medal tournament at the Fort Worth Recreation Building. The team members are, left to right, Jackie Robinson, Twain Morrow, Dewy Shilling, Doug Evans and Leonard Highnote. Chuck Herring is standing at the far left and Woodrow Keeton is at the far right. The team is lined up against a brick wall. The players are wearing sleeveless shirts and shorts. Mr. Herring is wearing a letterman jacket, shirt and trousers. Mr. Keeton is wearing a coat, shirt and trousers.
