Doris House, Doris Phillips and Virginia Hoglund enlisted in the United States Navy. Miss House and Miss Phillips were Marine candidates. Miss Hoglund joined the Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service (WAVES). The three women are shown standing beside each other in front of a wall. Miss House is wearing a dark jacket with a small medal on it and a hat. Miss Phillips is wearing a long, belted, striped dress. Miss Hoglund is wearing a long, dark dress. Miss House appears to have her arms resting on a counter top.
