Description
More than 30,000 school kids of Fort Worth jammed in lines three blocks long on Ninth Street after school had been dismissed for the special occasion; to view the Japanese 2-man submarine that had been captured at Pearl Harbor last year. Many of the children can be seen touching the side of the sub and peering through the submarine. The street are also lined with other spectators. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 25, 1943.
