Description
Members of Fort Worth, Texas's, Pioneer Platoon of the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (W. A. A. C.) gathered around to receive the good wishes and say farewell to their recruiter, Miss Frances Blocker, and her aids. Miss Blocker, with Mrs. Virginia Farmer, county chairman, and Mrs. Lester Boone, city chairman, are shown in the center. Shown waving at them at the extreme right is Miss Bess Stephenson, W. A. A. C. volunteer. A crowd of unnamed members are standing behind and around Miss Blocker.
