Description
There are a series of formal garden plots at the Winfield Scott residence on Pennsylvania Avenue. The garden plots employ many clipped borders and shaped evergreens. Here is a section on the circular garden on the south side of the house. A fountain centers the garden and stone benches are placed against a background of hedge and cedars. Blooming plants form an inside circle of color against the green. The Scott garden will be one of nine opened to the public April 27 and 28 for the annual spring garden pilgrimage of the Fort Worth Garden Club.
