Mrs. Ellis is sitting on a chair with her daughter on her lap. The mother and daughter are both looking at the camera and Mrs. Ellis is smiling slightly. She is wearing a dark, half-sleeve dress with embroidery detailing around the neckline. Mrs. Ellis married her husband in 1941 and used to be a bookkeeper for the Marie Tomlin Corporation, a cosmetics manufacturing concern. Mr. Ellis is a stock clerk at Consolidated Aircraft Corporation. He formerly worked as a produce manager for A. & P. Food Stores.
