Description
The 1943 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Sitting at a ringside table, left to right, are Johnny Bevil and John Sullivan. They are the timekeepers for the tournament. Winners from the state tournament will advance to Chicago, Illinois, and represent Texas on the national stage. Mr. Bevil is dressed in a hat and a suit and is holding a stopwatch. Mr. Sullivan is wearing a suit.
