Description
James Reid Junior, Barbara Brown and Gwendolyn Miller, Sam Rosen School students, shown holding up the afghan blanket they knitted for the Junior Red Cross. The blanket has a checkered pattern and has a variety of shades. Behind the trio is another afghan with the same pattern, hung up on the wall. James and Gwendolyn are wearing trousers while Barbara is wearing a skirt. At the far left is a poster promoting the purchasing of war savings stamps.
