J. H. Baumgardner, left, of Wellington, Texas, a student at Texas Technological College, and W. L. Stangel, head of the animal husbandry department at the college. The two men were in Fort Worth, Texas, to watch the steers they fed at the college be sold at the livestock market. They are standing in front of a fence. Baumgardner is wearing a suit. Stangel is wearing a collared shirt, a necktie, trousers, a coat and a cowboy hat.
