Description
The 1943 Golden Gloves District Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Competing in a welterweight bout, left to right, are Pete Pegues and Lawrence "Little Ox" Culver. Pegues is kneeling on the canvas after a one-two punch from the glove of Culver in the first round. Culver went on to win the match.
