Description
Lieutenant Virginia Williams, of the Women's Auxiliary Army Corps (W. A. A. C.), is posing with their official mascot, a kitten name Waac. Lieutenant Williams found the kitten in the doorway of a sign painter's shop in El Paso, Texas. The kitten is shown in her favorite basket. She travels with the lieutenant on recruiting trips for the W. A. A. C. and even sleeps on hotel beds.
