Lieutenant Edwin T. Phillips Junior is a recent graduate of the Eastern Signal Corps Officer Candidate School in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. He is spending a brief leave in Fort Worth, Texas, with his wife, the former Miss Jane Weir, and his mother. At the end of the leave, the lieutenant will report to Dayton, Ohio. Before volunteering with the Army, Lieutenant Phillips was a partner in a law firm. He is shown standing against a wall, dressed in his military uniform.
