Description
Three Army wives have moved to Fort Worth, pooled their families under one big house and learned to live in high spirits on a low budget. They live at 1013 Ramsey Street. One of the wives, Mrs. Vernon Wildman, whose husband is a major at Schofield Barracks, Hawii, is a checker at Quartermaster Depot. Mrs. Wildman is shown standing next to Mr. Vernon M. Duke as he hauls in a large crate into the depot. She appears to be inspecting the crate with a small tool in her hand while holding a clipboard in the other. She is wearing a pair of eyeglasses and a checkered jacket. Mr. Duke and the other two unnamed man behind him are wearing hats, jackets and gloves. The other unnamed men are also hauling in multiple boxes into the depot. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, February 14, 1943.
