    Description

Waynada Wallace and June Brooks, students at Arlington Heights High School, shown with war bonds. Their penny banks will buy war bonds. Miss Wallace and Miss Brooks are standing behind a table that has a large pile of the pennies they saved surrounded by coin wrappers. There are also two coin jars in the shape of animals near the large pile. Both students are smiling as they hold up their bonds. Miss Wallace is wearing a short-sleeve swearer with a pearl necklace and a tennis skirt and Miss Brooks is wearing a dark, v-neck top with a black and white striped skirt. Behind them is a window with the blinds closed. The school will close a drive Tuesday to return small coins to circulation and to sell war bonds and stamps.
